RENAULT DUSTER 2026

Renault Duster’s return has been the most discussed in the Indian market. Launched on 26 January 2026, the new Duster is a new debut for the brand. The SUV will be based on Renault’s new CMF-B modular platform, which will later become the base of Nissan’s new SUVs and 7-seater Duster (Boreal).

The new Duster has become quite modern in terms of design. Its India-spec model is very similar to the global version, just to see some cosmetic changes. The cabin will be more premium than before and the list of features is also going to be longer.

It is expected to feature features such as 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital driver display, wireless charging, Arkamys sound system, panoramic sunroof and Level-2 ADAS. Engine options may include 1.3-liter and 1.0-liter turbo petrol units.

MARUTI E VITARA

Maruti Suzuki with Maruti e Vitara is finally going to enter the full-size electric SUV segment. Its prices are expected to be announced by the end of January 2026.

This SUV Delta, Zeta and Alpha — will come in three variants and will get two battery options of 49kWh and 61kWh. The company claims that this SUV can give an ARAI-certified range of up to about 543 kilometers once charged.

Maruti will offer it with options like Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and assured buyback, making it easy to buy EV. In terms of safety, it will feature features like Level-2 ADAS, 7 airbags, ESP, 360-degree camera and all-wheel disc brakes.

TOYOTA URBAN CRUISER EV

Toyota has confirmed the launch of Urban Cruiser EV on 19 January 2026 officially by Toyota. This SUV will actually be a re-badged version of Maruti e Vitara, but will come with Toyota’s touch and brand value.

This electric SUV will compete with trains like Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and MG ZS EV. The price is expected to be between ₹18 lakhs to ₹24 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Battery options will be the same 49kWh and 61kWh. Small battery packs will get power up to 144bhp and larger to 174bhp. Once charged, this SUV can run for about 540 kilometers, making it practical for long drives as well.

TATA PUNCH FACELIFT

The Tata Punch Facelift will be launched on January 13, 2026. Tata has already revealed its variants and features. The Punch Facelift will come in a total of six trims—Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished+.

Even the base variant will get features like LED headlamps, remote keyless entry, City and Eco drive modes, six airbags, ESC, and TPMS. The top variant will offer premium features like a voice-assisted electric sunroof, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, and an auto-dimming IRVM.

The biggest change will be a new 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine, which produces around 110PS of power and 140Nm of torque. The existing 1.2-liter NA engine will continue with manual and AMT options.

SKODA KUSHAQ FACELIFT

The Skoda Kushaq Facelift can be launched by the end of January, around 18 or 19 January. This facelift will not have major design changes, but in terms of features this SUV will go much further.

Engine options will remain the same as the current 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter turbo petrol, but improved tech and safety will make it more value-for-money.
