Volkswagen Tayron

Let me tell you that this SUV has been seen many times during testing on Indian roads for the last few months. On some occasions, Tayron badging was also seen clearly. That is why it is considered almost certain that in India it will be launched under the name of Volkswagen Tayron.

In the global market, Tayron is positioned above Tiguan and replaces Tiguan Allspace. That is, in India, now we can see a new and more premium model named Tayron instead of Tiguan Allspace.

Led Lights

The most special thing about the teaser is its full-width LED lighting. Light bars are provided on both the front and rear sides, making it a completely different identity from the existing Tiguan R Line. The rear tail-lamp design also looks new and more futuristic. The long silate of the SUV also clears that its wheelbase will be larger, allowing more space for three-row seating.

Space and Big Boot

Volkswagen Tayron has been introduced as a family-friendly SUV in the international market. It provides a third row worth using, which is used in long journeys.

Its boot space with all three row seats is reported to be around 345 liters. This space increases further when folding the third row, which can easily meet needs such as long trips and airport runs.

Engine and AWD

The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine is expected to be delivered to the Volkswagen Tayron for the Indian market. This engine generates power of around 204 bhp and torque of 320 Nm.

It is likely to get a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with it. The special thing is that it can also be given an all-wheel drive system, which will enable it for both highway and light off-road.

Launch

According to reports of the branch, Volkswagen can collect this SUV in India. The assembly can take place at the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar plant in Maharashtra, where Skoda Kodiaq is also prepared.

Having a local assembly can help keep prices under a little control. At the moment the company has not provided any official information about the launch date and price, but it is expected to be revealed in the coming months.
