The Renault Duster, once a popular SUV in India, is set to return with a new look. The company has officially confirmed that the new-generation Renault Duster will be introduced in the Indian market on January 26, 2026. This time, the company will launch the car only in petrol engine variants, while the 3-row version will be introduced later.

Bold Design and Muscular Look

The new Duster is built on a completely new platform and features a bolder and more muscular design than before. The SUV features Y-shaped signature design elements, giving it a distinctive identity. The exterior of the car has also received several improvements, including a new grille, updated headlamp design, larger wheel arches, and improved ground clearance. The SUV will now appear more modern and powerful than before.

Engine and Performance

The company will launch the new Duster with a petrol engine only this time. It is expected to be equipped with a 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which will strike a perfect balance between performance and fuel efficiency. Both manual and automatic gearbox options are expected with this engine. However, unlike the previous generation, an all-wheel drive (AWD) variant may not be offered this time, as the company is focusing more on urban use and budget-friendly models.

The new-generation Duster will be offered in India with premium upgrades.
