CNG and Engine Details

The new Kia Carens CNG has been introduced by the company as a dealer-level fitment, ie customers can get it directly at the dealership. This CNG kit has been produced by Lovato which is a government-approved retrofitment. The special thing is that with this a third-party warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh kilometers is being given.

And let me tell you that it has the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine which is found in petrol variants. This engine generates power of 113 bhp and torque of 144 Nm. Only a 5-speed manual gearbox is provided with it.

Design and look

If it talks about its design, there is no major cosmetic change in the new Carens CNG. It retains the same stunning design that gives it a premium and elegant look. Its front grille, LED DRLs, and chrome accents make it even more stylish.

However, this can be identified differently from CNG badging and Lovato kit fitments. The 15-inch steel wheels with wheel cover maintain its classic and practical appeal.

Interior and Features

The Carens has always been known for its comfort and features, and its CNG version is no exception. It comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the car features semi-leatherette upholstery, a reverse parking camera with guidelines, and a 12.5-inch LCD instrument cluster.
