Let me tell you that Bajaj is going to further strengthen its identity in the electric scooter segment. The company is preparing to bring its popular Bajaj Chetak into a new avatar. Design
The company has made several major changes to the design of the new Bajaj Chetak, making it more stylish and premium than before. The LED headlight on the front side is integrated with a beautiful badging of “Chetak”, which further enhances its look. The earlier indicators that were given on the front apron are now shifted to handlebar section, making it look face and clean.
The side profile has been fully camouflage, but it is expected that the company will offer new graphics, attractive colors, and some more minor design upgrades.

Features
The most special thing that appeared during testing was its rectangular LCD display, which looks more modern and informative than the current model. Also, a new switchgear setup has been given, which will improve both the control and user experience of the scooter.
However, this variant did not show premium features such as TFT screens or keyless ignition, which may assume that this model may be mid-spec or entry-level variant.
Performance
Also, this time the biggest change is the new hub-mounted motor. The existing Bajaj Chetak has a swingarm-mounted motor, while now the company has fitted it directly into the wheel hub. This technology gives direct-drive power delivery, which increases both the efficiency and smoothness of the scooter.

It is expected that Bajaj will continue the same battery pack options (3kWh or 3.5kWh) in it. Accordingly, the range of the scooter is likely to be between 127 km to 153 km.

However, it is believed that Bajaj will introduce its new Chetak Electric Scooter (2026 Model) to the market early next year. Talking about price, it may be a bit economical from the current model, so that it can reach more people. It is expected that its price can be kept between ₹1.15 lakh to ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
