A design that brings a sense of the future

The Honda 0 Alpha’s design is based on the brand’s ‘Thin, Light, and Wise’ philosophy. The SUV’s stance is low and wide, giving it a premium and bold look. The front features slim integrated headlamps, a light-up Honda logo, and stretched LED DRLs, giving it a next-generation vehicle feel.

The U-shaped LED light bar at the rear gives it a more modern look. The SUV will feature a 2750mm wheelbase, which is approximately 100mm longer than the Honda Elevate. Its track will also be approximately 20mm wider, improving its road presence and increasing cabin space.

More Space and Smart Tech Inside

Honda has developed the 0 Alpha’s cabin under the Thin Packaging concept. It will include a flat floor, an open and airy cabin design, and advanced connected features. The company has not yet shared powertrain details, such as the motor and battery, but reports suggest the model could be launched in a front-wheel-drive configuration.

Connected car technology, a smart display setup, and a clean and simple dashboard format make this SUV future-ready.

Preparing for Tough Competition in the Indian Market

Upon launch in India, the Honda 0 Alpha will directly compete with models like the Mahindra BE 6, Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta Electric, and Maruti Suzuki eVitara. This model will replace the Honda Elevate EV project and become the brand’s first standard electric mobility product. The company is looking to establish a strong position in the EV segment, and this SUV will be offered with a premium approach to the market.

Global Launch Plans and Future Models

Following the Honda 0 Alpha, the company is preparing to introduce two more models – the Honda 0 SUV and the Honda 0 Saloon. Of these, the Honda 0 SUV will be available as a CBU unit in India, while the Honda 0 Saloon is reserved exclusively for international markets. This is part of Honda’s new EV strategy, which includes gaining a strong foothold in the global market with a premium electric lineup.
