Price and Variants

The Maruti Grand Vitara 7-Seater is expected to have an ex-showroom price starting from ₹14 lakh and going up to ₹25 lakh. It will be priced higher than the current 5-seater Grand Vitara, but it will offer a significant leap forward in terms of features and space. The company will launch it with petrol and strong hybrid engine options. Upon launch, it will compete with SUVs like the Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Safari, and MG Hector Plus.

Design and Exterior Appeal

In terms of design, the new Grand Vitara 7-Seater will retain the identity of its 5-seater version, but will come with a more muscular and rugged look. A new chrome grille design, C-shaped LED DRLs, and a sporty bumper at the front give it a powerful character. Roof rails and 17-18-inch alloy wheels on the sides further strengthen the SUV’s off-road presence. Connected LED taillamps and a new rear bumper give it a modern finish. With a wheelbase of approximately 2,600 mm and a length of over 4,345 mm, the third row will offer improved legroom and space.

Interior and Features

The SUV’s cabin will be a perfect blend of premium touches and modern technology. The dual-tone interior, leatherette seats, and ventilated front seats add a luxurious feel. It will have three rows of seats, with the third row foldable and the second row offering captain seat options. Features include a 9-inch smart touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, a sunroof, and a smart key system.

Safety and Technology

Maruti is making this SUV even more advanced in safety. It will include features like six airbags, ABS+EBD, ESP, hill-hold assist, and blind-spot monitoring. ADAS technology will also be available, including lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and traffic sign recognition. This makes it one of the safest SUVs in the segment.
