Engine and performance

If we talk about the engine and performance, the Versys-X 300 features the company’s reliable 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which generates 40 PS power at 11,500 rpm and 25.7 Nm at 10,000 rpm. Its engine is rev-friendly, ie it remains smooth and responsive even at high rpm. It gets a 6-speed gearbox that comes with an assist and slipper clutch, making gear shift even easier and safer.

Design and Build Quality

Now let’s talk about design and build quality, this bike looks simple but quite adventure-oriented. Its design is minimal compared to the larger Versys 650 or Versys 1100, but the lightweight frame and strong positioning make it special. The bike has a length of 2,170mm, width 860mm, and a height of 1,390mm, making it perfect for both highways and mountain paths.

Suspension and handling

The Versys-X 300 is mounted on a strong backbone frame. It has 41mm telescopic front forks that offer 130mm travel. At the rear is the Uni-Trak gas-charged monoshock suspension which gives a 148mm movement. This suspension setup gives the bike a very smooth riding experience, especially during bad roads or off-roading.
