Honda 0 Series Alpha
Alpha will be the smallest SUV in Honda’s 0 Series EV lineup. The company has produced it on “Thin, Light and Wise” Design Philosophy, making it modern, lightweight and smart. This SUV has been developed keeping in mind the urban use and smart driving experience in particular.

While Elevate is a petrol model, the 0 Series Alpha will be a fully electric SUV. Honda is now stepping in a completely electric direction from conventional engines.
Production
You will be happy to know that Honda has made it clear that 0 Series Alpha will be produced in India only. This means that this SUV will be Made in India, making its price quite competitive. The move is not only for India but also part of Honda’s Global Strategy.
Also interestingly, Honda also plans to export this SUV from India to Japan and other Asian countries. This shows that Honda has full confidence in India’s manufacturing standards and markets.
Platform
Honda’s 0 Series Alpha is not being created by converting a petrol car into an electric one. It is built on a dedicated EV platform, meaning it has been designed as an electric vehicle from the ground up. The advantage of this is that the car will have more space, better performance, and a smoother driving experience.

Launch
Honda has not yet provided information about the battery specifications and range of this SUV, but it is estimated to be launched in India by 2027. Its price is likely to be above ₹2 million.

After launch, this SUV will compete with several powerful electric models, such as Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and MG ZS EV. That is, competition will be tremendous, but with Honda’s brand value and new design it can create a distinct identity in the SUV market.
