PM Kisan Yojana Update: Earlier reports suggested that the installment might be deposited around Diwali, but according to the latest update, the funds are now expected to be transferred in the first week of November 2025. While there is no official confirmation on the exact release date yet, sources say the process is in its final stages and farmers will soon see the next installment of Rs 2,000 directly credited to their bank accounts.

When can the 21st installment come?

According to media reports and sources, the 21st installment of PM Kisan Yojana can be released after Chhath i.e. in the first week of November.

What is PM Kisan Yojana?

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme was launched in 2019 to provide financial assistance of ₹6,000 per year to eligible farmers. This amount is distributed in three equal installments of Rs 2,000, deposited directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

This initiative aims to ease farmers’ financial burdens while ensuring they receive ongoing support to meet their agricultural and household expenses. To date, more than 110 million farmers across India have benefited from this scheme.

Why is it important to complete e-KYC?

To ensure transparency and prevent fraud, the government has made Aadhaar-based e-KYC mandatory for all PM-KISAN beneficiaries. Only those who have completed e-KYC and linked their bank accounts to Aadhaar will receive the next installment. If your e-KYC is pending, your name may be removed from the beneficiary list, which could delay or even prevent your next Rs 2,000 payment. Therefore, farmers are urged to complete their e-KYC process as soon as possible to avoid any problems.

How to update e-KYC online?

Go to pmkisan.gov.in on your phone or computer.

On the homepage, click on the ‘e-KYC’ option.

Enter your Aadhaar number and other required details.

You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.

Enter the OTP to verify your identity.

Once verified, your e-KYC process will be completed.

Alternatively, farmers can visit their nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) for offline assistance.
