How to create a Farmer ID

Farmers can use both online and offline methods to create a Farmer ID. For the online application, you have to first register on the AgriStack portal. After that, you have to complete e-KYC through Aadhaar and fill in the required information. If any document is requested, it has to be scanned and uploaded. After all the information is submitted, the concerned department verifies it, and upon completion of verification, a unique Farmer ID is issued to the farmer. In addition, the government is also creating Farmer IDs for farmers by organizing camps in different places.

Updating bank information is essential

To receive installments of the PM Kisan Yojana without any interruption, your bank account details must be accurate. Your bank account must be linked to your Aadhaar card, and your mobile number should also be updated. If any information in your bank records is outdated or incorrect, you may face difficulties in receiving the installments. Therefore, farmers should visit their nearest bank and update their necessary details.
