PM Kisan Yojana Update: There is good news for farmers waiting for the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. Some farmers will receive more than the usual amount in the next installment. So far, 21 installments have been released under this scheme, with eligible farmers receiving Rs 2,000 directly into their bank accounts each time. However, in the upcoming 22nd installment, some farmers are likely to receive a full Rs 4,000 instead of Rs 2,000.
Many farmers are wondering whether all beneficiaries will receive Rs 4,000 or if this benefit will only be given to a select few. The answer is clear: this amount will not be given to every farmer, but only to a select few.

Which farmers will receive Rs 4,000?
The central government releases installments of the PM Kisan Yojana three times a year, and Rs 2,000 is given in each installment. Since the scheme started, there has been no change in the installment amount. Therefore, receiving Rs 4,000 in the 22nd installment does not mean an increase in the installment amount. In fact, farmers whose 21st installment was delayed due to technical reasons will receive the pending amount along with the next installment. This is why Rs 4,000 will be transferred to the accounts of such farmers at once.
During each installment, the payment of thousands of farmers is stopped due to technical reasons, lack of documents, or bank-related issues. Later, when their problems are resolved, the government adds the previous pending amount to the next installment and sends it.

These farmers will not receive the 22nd installment
The government has already clarified that the installments of farmers who do not fulfill the necessary conditions of the scheme are stopped. Farmers who have not yet completed their e-KYC will not receive the benefit of the 22nd installment. E-KYC has been made mandatory, and payment is not possible without it. In addition, farmers whose bank accounts are not linked to Aadhaar or whose accounts do not have DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) enabled will not receive the money. Sometimes, installments get stuck due to incorrect bank account numbers, IFSC codes, or bank names. Therefore, farmers should regularly check their bank details.
When can the 22nd installment be released?
Installments under the PM Kisan Yojana are usually released every four months. Based on the previous payment pattern, the 22nd installment is expected in February. However, the government has not yet officially announced the date. It is believed that this installment may be released to farmers after the budget, providing them with direct financial assistance.
