Launch
The launch of Nissan Tekton in the Indian market is set in mid-2026 (Mid 2026). This SUV will be made entirely under local manufacturing in India at the Renault-Nissan Alliance Plant (Chennai). It will also be sent to the export market, making India a global manufacturing hub for Nissan.

Nissan Tekton will be the company’s second SUV to join the Indian lineup after Magnite. Its price is being estimated between ₹9 lakhs to ₹14 lakhs (ex-showroom). That is, it will target customers who are looking for a stylish, feature-rich and reliable mid-size SUV.
Design
Although the design of the new Nissan Tekton is largely based on the new-generation Renault Duster, its look and feel is entirely inspired by the Nissan Patrol SUV.
The front side is given slimmer grille with dual chrome strips and Nissan logo in the center. Its clamshell bonnet, dual-tone front bumper, and body cladding give the SUV a muscular and premium appearance.
The same 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, roof rails and silver-finished air intake design enhance its dynamic style even more. Connected LED tail lamps, roof-mounted spoiler, and dual-tone silver-black bumper on the rear profile provide a modern and powerful stance to the SUV.
Interior
At the same time, the interior of Nissan Tekton has not been completely revived, but the company has shared some teaser images from which its interior already looks attractive.
Soft-touch materials have been used on the dashboard and with ambient lighting it has been given a luxury car-like appeal. A sleek copper strip extends from AC vents to infotainment screen, making the design a premium.

Engine
Nissan Tekton is designed on the CMF-B platform, the global architecture of Renault-Nissan. This SUV will be offered with Petrol-only and Strong Hybrid engine options.
Where, according to reports, the AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system will also be available in its top variants, making this SUV even better in terms of off-road capability.
Transmission options will include both 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox. At the same time, the strong hybrid system will only be offered in top-end variants, promising better fuel efficiency and smooth performance.
