Maruti Suzuki E-Vitara
Maruti’s first pure-electric SUV e-Vitara will launch in India on 2 December. The production-ready model shown in the 2025 Auto Expo was well liked. Its manufacturing has also started at the company’s Hansalpur (Gujarat) plant.

This SUV will come with two battery packs of 49 kWh and 61 kWh, with the larger battery pack claiming to give around 500 km range. The single motor FWD setup is expected to be found in the India-spec model.
Next-Gen Kia Seltos
Kia’s second generation Seltos’ global debut will take place on 10 December and will reach India in 2025. New models with SP3i codenames have been observed several times during testing.

The design of the new Seltos will be completely new and will also be larger than the old model. The same 1.5 NA petrol, 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol and 1.5 CRDi diesel engines will continue in this variant. The most special thing is that Kia can also give strong hybrid powertrain in it.
New-Gen Renault Duster
Renault Duster, once included in India’s most liked SUVs, is now making a comeback. Its India launch is fixed on 26 January 2026. Its design will be largely the same as the international model, but some India-specific changes will be found.

The new Duster will be built on the CMF-B platform and will feature a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine, which will give 154 bhp and 250 Nm strength. The company is also working on localised hybrid powertrain for this SUV.
Skoda Kushaq & VW Taigun Facelift
Both Skoda’s Kushaq and Volkswagen’s Taigun are ready for their first facelift. Their new updates are expected to be launched in the coming months. This facelift will see new alloy wheels, changed front and rear designs and some subtle changes to the cabin.

Its biggest upgrades will be panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS. The same reliable 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI petrol options as the engine will be found, with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Honda is developing the strong hybrid version of its popular Elevate SUV for India. It may launch in the second half of 2026. Elevate Hybrid will have the same setup as found in City e: HEV – 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine + dual electric motors. The biggest advantage will be its great mileage! It is expected that this SUV can deliver fuel efficiency of up to 26–27 kmpl, which will change the game in segment.
