Tata Sierra
Tata Motors is also bringing back its iconic SUV, the Sierra, in a new avatar. This SUV will now be more modern and lifestyle-oriented than before. Most notably, the Tata Sierra will now come in two versions: EV (Electric Vehicle) and ICE (Internal Combustion Engine), meaning it will be available in both petrol and diesel options.
This will be a 5-door SUV measuring approximately 4.3 meters in length. It will compete directly with mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Victorias.
In terms of design, the Tata Sierra will retain its boxy and rugged styling, but will feature futuristic elements like LED strip headlamps, clean lines, and bold wheel arches.

However, engine options are expected to include a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5L turbo petrol, and a 2.0L turbo diesel engine. The electric version will feature a front-axle mounted motor with 65kWh and 75kWh battery packs. The top variant could also feature a dual-motor AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system.
Renault Duster
In the Indian market, the name Renault Duster evokes feelings of strength and adventure. The company is now launching its third generation in the first quarter of 2026.
The new Duster will be based on the CMF-B modular platform, which also underpins the Nissan Tekton SUV. Production will begin at Renault’s Chennai-based plant.

The new Renault Duster will be powered by a 1.3L turbocharged petrol engine, available with both manual and dual-clutch automatic transmissions. Entry-level variants are also expected to offer a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol or a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.
More importantly, the company will also introduce a hybrid version in late 2026 or early 2027. This means the Duster will not only offer powerful performance but also improved fuel efficiency.
Mahindra Vision S
Mahindra & Mahindra recently unveiled its new Vision range, which includes four concept models: Vision X, Vision S, Vision T, and Vision SXT. The first model to launch will be the Mahindra Vision S, also known as the “Baby Scorpio.”

This SUV will be less than 4 meters in length and will become the smallest SUV in the Scorpio family. Its design will be more compact and urban-friendly while retaining the Scorpio DNA.
