Maruti Suzuki Brezza Facelift
Maruti Suzuki is preparing to bring its popular Brezza into new form. The recently spotted test mule clearly shows that the company is working on a mid-life facelift. The new Brezza, to be launched next year, is expected to receive subtle exterior design updates, new interior touches and the most exclusive Level 2 ADAS, which will bring it on par with its competitors.
Its petrol and CNG engine options will remain the same —1.5L K15C engine, along with a choice of 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic. The underbody tank can be used in CNG variant, like we saw in the new Victorious.
New-Gen Tata Nexon
Tata Motors is preparing a new generation model of its best-seller Nexon. This SUV with ‘Garud’ codename will have a familiar X1 platform, but with structural upgrades and new design elements.
In its Exterior, futuristic design and interiors will see refreshed cabin, large infotainment system and new comfort-features. Current petrol, diesel and CNG options will be retained in Powertrain i.e. performance same, but package more modern.
Tata Punch Facelift
Punch is one of Tata’s most popular micro-SUVs, and now its facelift version is also in pipeline. The Punch facelift, which launched next year, has been seen several times during testing.
Talking about Design, let me tell you that its design will be similar to Punch EV, but some changes will give it a different identity. Cabin will see updated steering wheel, new dashboard layout, large 10.25-inch infotainment system and full digital instrument cluster. It will also have Engine unchanged 1.2L petrol and CNG options.
Mahindra Vision S
Mahindra introduced the Vision Series in 2025 and Vision S will first launch in 2027. It will be part of the Scorpio nameplate, so its stance is quite boxy and rugged — Bilkul like a small Scorpio.
Both petrol and diesel engines are expected to be found in the Vision S based on the NU_IQ platform, default front-wheel-drive and can also have an optional AWD setup. The testing of the SUV has already started and its design looks very close to the concept.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid
Maruti is going to make a big change in its Fronx. This will be the first model in which the company will use its in-house HEV Series Hybrid Technology. It will have a 1.2L Z12E petrol engine that will charge the battery pack or run the direct electric motor.
This setup will be so efficient that according to reports more than 30 kmpl will get mileage! Facelift version will arrive in mid-2026 and will also include Level 2 ADAS and some cosmetic updates.
Hyundai New Compact SUV
Hyundai has also started testing its new compact SUV. The prototype spotted in Chennai suggests that it is the ICE model. This can either be the facelift of Exter or the completely new Bayon crossover, which can be introduced as the rival of Maruti Fronx.
