Haryana News: Government purchase of wheat has started in Haryana from April 1. Keeping this in mind, all arrangements are made by the administration in the mandis, so that the farmers (Kisan) do not have to face any kind of trouble. Talking about Ambala Mandi, all the facilities have been arranged for the farmers here.
Rest house facility
Ambala Cantt Grain Market Secretary Neeraj Bhardwaj said that special attention has been given to all the basic facilities like clean drinking water, seating arrangements, toilets, cleanliness etc. for the farmers bringing the crop. He said that this time the facility of air-conditioned rest house has been provided for the farmers in the market, where they can rest.
A canteen has been opened for the farmers in the market, where you will get a full meal for just Rs 10. Sitting arrangements have been made for the farmers by putting up tents at the gate of the market. The gunny bags have also arrived in the market and will be made available to the farmers as soon as the crop arrives from April 1.
Appreciation of arrangements
The commission agents of the grain market praised the arrangements made by the district administration and said that this time it is expected that the purchase of the crop will be done on time, which will benefit the farmers. Better arrangements have been made in the market this time as compared to last year. Keeping in mind the summer season, additional water coolers have been installed. Apart from this, coolers-fans etc. have been arranged at the place where the farmers sit.
It sounds like the district administration has made significant improvements to the grain market this year, ensuring better conditions for both commission agents and farmers. The addition of more water coolers and cooling arrangements for the farmers reflects thoughtful planning for the summer season, which will likely enhance the overall experience and contribute to a smoother crop purchase process. The agents’ positive feedback suggests that the changes are expected to have a positive impact on efficiency and comfort, ultimately benefiting the farmers who rely on the market for their sales.
