: The NEET UG examination was conducted on 03 May across the country. The National Testing Agency () has cancelled the examination and decided to conduct it again. NEET UG examination will be held on June 21, 2026. The examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. Please be informed that the examination will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. However, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has proposed conducting the examination in computer-based mode from next year.

Telegram banned:-
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has temporarily banned the Telegram app to ensure the NEET UG examination is conducted safely. In addition, the admit cards for the 03 May examination have been released, and they will not be valid for the NEET re-exam.

Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm.

Security for exam day

674 coordinators have been appointed for city-level functioning.
6,669 observers for checking examination centres.
CCTV at all the centres will be connected to the central control room.
Centre Superintendent and Invigilator at each examination centre.
GPS-tracked and police escorted transport arrangements.

Entry to the exam centre
Students must report between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Gates will close at exactly 1:30 p.m.
Bring along: Printed Admit Card, Original Photo ID, Passport-size 2 Photos.

Do not bring with
Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, wallets, jewellery, food and beverages will not be allowed.

Advisory
The NTA has asked students and parents not to rely on rumours of paper leaks. The NTA asked students to immediately inform the NTA or cyber-crime authorities upon receiving any misleading information.
