Haryana Traffic Police: This news is really important, especially for those who drive regularly. Under the new Motor Vehicle Act, ignoring even small rules can prove to be costly. For example, if you have not tied the belt of the helmet even after wearing it, then you may have to pay a fine. Similarly, even if the vehicle papers are correct, you can get a challan for misbehaving with the traffic policeman.

Even if you have all the documents correct, still you can get a fine due to ignorance about the rules. All this means that while walking on the road, we should not only take care of our vehicle documents, but also our behavior and small things. By following the rules, not only can we avoid fines, but also promote road safety.

According to the new Motor Vehicle Act, if you do not tie the belt of the helmet even after wearing it, then you can get a challan of Rs 1,000. Apart from this, if you misbehave with a traffic policeman, a challan of Rs 2,000 can be issued. In this way, even some small mistake can lead to a big fine. Therefore, it is very important to follow the rules before walking on the road.

The challan will be issued when the traffic policeman sees you violating the rules during checking. For example:

1. For not tying the helmet strap: If you are wearing a helmet but have not tied its strap (cinch), then the policeman will stop you and find this violation. In this case, you will be issued a challan of Rs 1,000, even if you are wearing a helmet.

2. For misbehaving: If you argue or misbehave with a traffic policeman during the checking of vehicle papers, then you can get a challan of Rs 2,000 under the Motor Vehicle Act. It is always better to talk to the policeman politely, as it is very important to maintain peace on the road.

3. Other violations: If you have violated any other traffic rule (such as driving without a helmet or seat belt, or violating other road safety rules), the fine will be deducted for that violation.
