Haryana Toll Tax: Traveling on national highways in Haryana has become expensive. From today, a new toll rate has come into effect in the state. The rate has been increased by 5 to 25 rupees at 24 toll plazas in 12 districts of the state. Toll officials informed that the toll rate is increased by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) every year from April 1. To ensure that people do not get confused about the new prices, a new rate list has been put up at every toll booth.

Fee increased at these toll plazas

After the toll prices increased by the National Highway Authority of India, the toll rate at Gadpuri toll plaza, which falls between Faridabad-Palwal, has been increased by 5 to 20 rupees and monthly pass by 10 rupees. The toll from Narnaul to Ambala on National Highway 152D has become the most expensive. If you pass through here by car, then the single side tax will be Rs 375 and double side fare will be Rs 560. Monthly pass facility is not available here.

Low rates at these toll plazas

The rates of Humayunpur and Hasangarh toll plazas of Rohtak are the cheapest. Here the toll tax for one side for cars and jeeps etc. is Rs 30 and double side is Rs 45. At the same time, at Kherki Daula toll plaza in Gurugram, passengers will have to pay toll only for one side. After the new rates are implemented, drivers will have to pay more, which will make the journey expensive.

It seems that the toll rates for different toll plazas in the Rohtak and Gurugram regions are undergoing changes. Currently, the Humayunpur and Hasangarh toll plazas have relatively low rates for one-way travel—Rs 30 for cars and jeeps, and Rs 45 for a round trip (both ways). These rates are considered some of the cheapest.

In contrast, the Kherki Daula toll plaza in Gurugram currently charges toll only for one side of the journey. However, with the implementation of new rates, drivers can expect an increase in toll charges, which will likely make travel more expensive. This increase could impact daily commuters and travelers, particularly if the new rates significantly raise the overall cost of their trips.
