work from home in delhi: Every winter, Delhi’s pollution makes it difficult to leave the house. Pollution causes many diseases, such as cough and cold. In the winter season, smog and pollution make breathing poisonous for Delhiites. The common people of Delhi become victims of this deadly pollution. However, the winter season is still a long time away, but the Delhi government has already started preparing for it.
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta notified the Proactive Winter Air Quality Management Framework in June to control winter pollution. The Delhi government has taken a premature decision. To address pollution in winter, the Delhi government has a strict ‘winter anti-pollution plan’ in place. The rules will be implemented from November 1 to February 28 every year, it said on Friday.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said in a statement that under the notified draft, only vehicles with valid pollution control certificates will be able to purchase fuel at petrol pumps in Delhi. However, it was not immediately clear how long these restrictions on fuel purchases would remain in place.
What steps will the government take?
Changes in Work From Home and office timings:-
The Delhi government may also change office hours to reduce traffic on the roads. In addition, a 50% work-from-home rule can also be implemented in government and private offices.

Not available without a PUC certificate. Petrol-Diesel:
Vehicles without a valid Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate will not be given fuel at petrol pumps in Delhi.
Restriction on outdoor vehicles:
Non-BS-6 (Non-BS-VI) commercial vehicles registered outside Delhi may be banned from entering between November 1 and January 31. CNG, electric vehicles, emergency and government vehicles may be exempted.
You will have to pay double the parking charge:
Parking fees at authorised parking lots will be higher from November 1 to February 28 to reduce pollution caused by traffic jams on the roads.
Moratorium on construction works:
Construction work may be banned between December 10 and January 20 to curb pollution.
Action on waste burning:
Many people burn garbage and other materials in the open, and strict monitoring and action will now be taken. Drones and field monitoring will be used for this.
The plan is designed to ensure that preparations are completed in advance, rather than resorting to emergency measures after pollution levels increase in Delhi.
