“It’s great. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the Lucknow franchise last year. I made some great friends and spent a good few months with the team. So, I’m very grateful to have been retained and definitely looking forward to another season with them,” he said in a video shared on LSG’s ‘X’. When asked about his plans for next season, Markram said, “To do well in the IPL, you have to be really good as a team. I don’t think we were too far behind last season. If we had been able to capitalize on some key opportunities, the results would have been different.”

“We were very close to making it to the knockouts. So, let’s not overcomplicate things. I think we should try to repeat what we did well and convert some more difficult chances,” he said.
