This incident occurred during the West Indies’ batting innings, when they had scored 293 runs. At this point, the team had lost four wickets and held a 23-run lead. The camera panned towards the crowd, revealing a woman playfully slapping her friend or partner. The woman did this not once or twice, but multiple times, while the man held his hand to his cheek and wore a slight smile. The video is going viral on social media.
Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to bat first. Yashasvi Jaiswal (175) and captain Gill (129) scored centuries for India in the first innings. Subsequently, the West Indies were bowled out for 248, with Kuldeep Yadav taking five wickets and Ravindra Jadeja taking three. India invited the West Indies to bat again, but it appeared the match might end on the third day itself.

John Campbell (115) and Shai Hope (103) scored centuries in the West Indies’ second innings, saving the West Indies from an innings defeat. West Indies set a target of 121 runs for India. At the end of the fourth day’s play, India were 63 for 1. KL Rahul was batting on 25 and Sai Sudharshan on 30. India now needed just 58 more runs to win.
