Team India is expected to make few changes in the playing eleven for the thrid ODI match of the series. They suffered two straightway defeats against the home team in the 3-match One Day International series. Cricket experts advised the Indian team management to play Kuldeep Yadav on the Australia surface. Along with the bowling division, a shuffle in the batting line-up is also expected to see in India vs Australia 3rd ODI in Sydney. Speculations are also there around Virat Kohli’s international career. He got back to back ducks (zero) in two matches in the series.
After Perth, Team India suffered another defeat in Adelaide. With two consecutive defeats, the Indian team has lost the series. Now, in Sydney, Team India will play for honor in the third ODI against Australia.
Team India eyeing for first victory in the tour
Shubman Gill will be aiming to lead Team India to its first victory in this format under his captaincy. Rohit Sharma looked in good form in the second ODI, but the team will also be hoping for a strong innings from Kohli. Meanwhile, the Australians will be looking to win the series 3-0. Australia’s bowlers, in particular, have been exceptional in this series. Harshit Rana’s performance in the first two ODIs was subpar. He took two wickets in the second, but proved quite expensive.
Therefore, the team management may consider replacing Harshit with Prasidh Krishna in the final ODI. Krishna could be seen supporting Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj. Siraj’s performance in the second ODI was also subpar, taking just one wicket. However, Arshdeep appeared in good form and took two crucial wickets.
Team India’s probable playing 11
Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, KL Rahul, Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj.
