In this tournament, two teams of six players each take the field instead of 11. Each team can bowl a maximum of six overs, meaning the match is played for six sides. In the final, an over consists of eight balls. Furthermore, every player on the team, except the wicketkeeper, must bowl one over. There is no free hit for a no-ball. However, wides and no-balls count as extra runs.

Last year, Robin Uthappa led Team India in the tournament. He also included star players like Stuart Binny, Manoj Tiwary, and Kedar Jadhav. Team India’s campaign ended in the first round after losing to the UAE and Pakistan in the group stage.
