However, Delhi Capitals are reluctant to let go of KL Rahul, citing his strong brand value and impressive performance last season. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are reportedly pursuing KL Rahul as they are looking for a leader and a top-order batsman. Rahul was signed by Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2025 mini-auction. Before Delhi, he was the captain of Lucknow Super Giants.
Meanwhile, Sanju Samson could be part of the Delhi Capitals camp. It is believed that Tristan Stubbs and Sanju could be involved in a trade. Stubbs could move to Rajasthan, while Sanju could return to Delhi.

Sanju Samson has previously been a part of the Delhi Capitals. He represented Delhi in IPL 2016 and 2017. However, he didn’t perform particularly well with the bat. In 2016, he played 14 matches, scoring 291 runs at an average of 26.45, while in IPL 2017, he scored 386 runs in 14 matches at an average of 27.57.
