The Senior Men’s Selection Committee has named the India ‘A’ squad for the Asian Cricket Council’s Rising Stars Asia Cup in Qatar. The tournament will be played from 14 to 23 November 2025 at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha.

India-Pakistan clash on November 16, final on the 23rd

Group A consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Sri Lanka, while Group B consists of India, Oman, Pakistan, and the UAE. The high-voltage India-Pakistan clash will take place on November 16. Both semi-finals will be played on the same day, November 21. The final will be held on Sunday, November 23rd.

This tournament was formerly known as the ACC Emerging Asia Cup. The tournament began in 2013 and has played six editions so far. The tournament began as an Under-23 competition and was later expanded to an ‘A’ team competition. Pakistan and Sri Lanka have won it twice each, while India and Afghanistan have won it once each. Afghanistan are the defending champions, having defeated Sri Lanka in 2024.

Teams will field their main players in the Emerging Asia Cup, to be played in the T20 format. Apart from the ‘A’ teams of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, three associate teams i.e. Hong Kong, Oman and UAE will field their main teams.
