What ingredients are needed to make Rice Tikki?

Leftover rice – 1 cup

Onion – 1

Potatoes – 2

Green chillies – 1-2, finely chopped

Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon

Coriander leaves – 2 tablespoons, finely chopped

Red chilli powder – half a teaspoon

Garam masala – half a teaspoon

Turmeric powder – half a teaspoon

Gram flour (besan) – 1 tablespoon

Salt – to taste

Oil – as needed

How to make rice tikki?

1- First, put the leftover rice and boiled potatoes in a large bowl and mash them well. Now add the finely chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chillies, and ginger-garlic paste.

2- Then add chopped red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Mix all the ingredients together.

3- Then add gram flour to it and mix well.

4- Next, heat some oil in a pan or griddle. Then take a small portion of the mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands.

5- Then, flatten it by pressing it with your palms. Then, place it on a hot griddle and cook it until golden brown and crispy on both sides.

6- Then your patty is ready. Now you can serve this patty with green chutney, tomato chutney or sauce.
