1 cup green mung beans
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
2 green chillies
2 tablespoons grated ginger
3 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
A pinch of baking soda
Oil

How is Green Moong Dal Vada made?
Step 1- First, wash the green mung beans and soak them for 4-5 hours. Now, grind them coarsely in a mixer jar.
Step 2- Now mix ginger and green chillies into the lentils. Then add cumin seeds and red chilli powder. Then add baking soda, coriander leaves, and salt.
Step 3- Now heat a pan and add oil. Wet your hands and take a small portion of the mixture; flatten it into a round shape. Then carefully place it in the oil and cook until crispy. Serve with chutney.
