Bihar Assembly Election Survey Update – Only three days are left for the first phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly elections. Voting will take place on November 6th for 121 assembly seats. Before the voting, good news has arrived for Tejashwi Yadav. A recent survey has placed Tejashwi Yadav as the first choice for Chief Minister.

This survey was released by JVC. Tejashwi Yadav has emerged as the most popular leader in this survey. Yes, Nitish Kumar must be the second choice for Bihar. Prashant Kishore of the Jan Suraj Party also made a place in this race. LJP chief Chiraj Paswan is also considered by some to be the CM candidate.

Tejaswi Leads in the CM Race – Survey

Amidst the Bihar Assembly elections, a JVC poll has presented surprising figures. 33 per cent of people prefer Tejashwi Yadav as the CM candidate, followed by current CM Nitish Kumar. According to the survey, 29 per cent of people consider Nitish Kumar as their choice.

Chirag Paswan, founder of the Jan Suraj Party and head of the Lok Janshakti Party, is considered by 10 per cent of respondents to be their favourite. Besides, senior BJP leader and current Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary, is considered by some to be the favourite leader.

In the survey, 50 per cent of respondents believed that another candidate from the Grand Alliance could become the Chief Minister, while 4 per cent expressed confidence in another BJP leader. A Times Now report claims that the survey was conducted between October 23 and 30.

Who is ahead in seats?

While Tejashwi Yadav leads in popularity in the JVC survey, he appears to be lagging in terms of seats. The NDA appears to be gaining ground in the projected seat figures. According to the survey, the NDA is likely to win 120 to 140 seats.

The survey predicts that the Grand Alliance will win between 93 and 112 seats. The majority mark in the Bihar Assembly elections is 122 seats. The state has a total of 243 seats.

Party-wise Seats

Surveys predict 70 to 81 seats for the BJP. The JDU is expected to win 42 to 48 seats. The LJP (Ram Vilas) may win 5 to 7 seats. In the Grand Alliance, the RJD is expected to win 69 to 78 seats. Congress is expected to win 9 to 17 seats. For information, the first phase of voting will be held on November 6 and the second phase on November 11. Results for all seats will be declared on November 14, 2025.
