Monsoon Update:- Monsoon rains have caused havoc across the country. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding heavy rains in many parts of the country for the next few days. A warning has been issued in view of the torrential rains in Northwest India, particularly in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Western Uttar Pradesh, until September 3. Apart from this, due to heavy traffic jams from Noida to Delhi and Gurugram, people are facing considerable trouble. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert due to heavy to hefty rainfall in many parts of the country over the next few days. Torrential rains are being experienced in Northwest India, particularly in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Western Uttar Pradesh, until September 3.

Red alert for heavy rains in these places
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert due to heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Western Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the southern districts of Himachal Pradesh. A warning has been issued due to heavy rains in several districts of Jammu and Kashmir, including Kathua, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, and Reasi. Thunderstorms and hail are also expected in Haryana and Punjab. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Odisha and Tamil Nadu.

The IMD has warned that rain will continue in Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and coastal Karnataka between September 3 and 6.

Heavy rainfall is expected in Gujarat on September 4 and 5. Similarly, heavy rains are expected in Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and western Madhya Pradesh between September 3 and 5.

Weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh

Rain continues in many cities of Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many districts, including Lucknow, Barabanki, Bareilly, Amethi, Prayagraj, Hapur, and Saharanpur.

Weather conditions in Bihar and Uttarakhand

There is a possibility of lightning and strong winds in 12 districts of Bihar on September 2. A yellow alert has been issued for Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Siwan, Sitamarhi, Saran, and Gopalganj. At the same time, due to incidents like landslides and cloudbursts in Uttarakhand, a red alert has been issued in Dehradun and Tehri Garhwal.
