Monsoon Update: The weather across the country is changing rapidly. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to heavy rainfall in several states. The Meteorological Department predicts that several districts of Rajasthan may receive rainfall within the next 24 hours. The Jaipur Meteorological Centre released this information on Tuesday. According to this, due to the activation of a new western disturbance, cloudy skies and light rain are expected in some parts of the state on November 27-28. Strong winds likely accompany rainfall.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is expected at some places in the Ajmer division and surrounding areas on November 28, while the weather will remain predominantly dry in other areas. Last Monday night, the lowest minimum temperature recorded in Sikar was 6.5 degrees Celsius.

Wind speeds could reach 30-35 kmph on November 27. Light rain is expected in the affected areas, ranging from 2-5 mm, with rainfall up to 10 mm possible in some places. Furthermore, by November 29th, the sky will clear, and a new wave of cold northerly winds will begin to spread across the state, stabilising the situation.

Rainfall in These Places
According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to heavy rainfall is expected in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands from November 25th to 28th. Rainfall is also likely in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Mahe until November 25th. The Meteorological Department also predicts that rain may continue in Lakshadweep, coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam. The India Meteorological Department has also issued orange and yellow alerts for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, predicting heavy to heavy rainfall and strong winds in several districts.

 Kashmir Weather Forecast
Severe winter has begun in many states of North India. Kashmir is also reeling under a severe cold wave. The minimum temperature in the valley has dropped several degrees below freezing. The local meteorological department says that Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of minus 3.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday, the coldest night so far this season.

 Uttar Pradesh Weather Forecast
The weather in Uttar Pradesh has taken a turn. It is gradually becoming cooler, with nights becoming noticeably colder. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to remain dry for the next week, with fog likely during this period. However, no alert has been issued regarding severe cold. Clear weather is expected in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh on November 26th. The Meteorological Department predicts dry weather in the west and east Uttar Pradesh on November 27th, 28th, and 29th. Dry weather is expected in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh on November 30th and December 1st.
