PM Kisan Update: Big news for Indian Farmers. The government has successfully transferred 22 installments of this scheme to farmers’ accounts so far. Under this scheme, eligible farmers across the country receive financial assistance of Rs 2,000 every four months directly into their bank accounts.
If your previous 22nd installment was held up due to technical issues or a document discrepancy, there’s no need to worry. Once the necessary procedures, such as eKYC and land seeding, are completed, the pending previous installment can be credited to your account simultaneously with the upcoming 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi .
When will the wait finally end?
The Union Agriculture Ministry and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have yet to officially announce a specific date for the release of the 23rd installment . However, if we look at the scheme’s trends and the timing of installment releases over the past years, the picture becomes fairly clear: This calendar year installment has typically been released in June or July. If there is a slight delay, it can also extend into the first or second week of August.
In the year 2024, the 17th installment of the scheme was released on June 18, while the installment of the previous year (2025) was released on August 2. Based on this timeline and trend, it is highly likely that farmers’ wait could end any time after June 18. However, beneficiaries should wait for the official notification from the Ministry of Agriculture for the final and exact date.

- Step 1: Visit the official website First of all visit the official web portal of PM-Kisan Yojana https://pmkisan.gov.in/ .
- Step 2: Click on ‘Know Your Status’ After scrolling on the homepage, you will see the option of ‘Know Your Status’ under Farmer Corner, click on it.
- Step 3: Enter your registration number Enter your ‘PM Kisan Registration Number’ in the designated box on the new page.
What to do if you don’t remember your registration number?
Click on the link ‘Know Your Registration Number’ appearing on the screen.
After this you can search by selecting the option of your registered mobile number or Aadhar card.
An OTP will come on your mobile, as soon as you enter it, your registration number will appear on the screen.
Complete the OTP verification
After entering your registration number and captcha code, click on ‘Get Data.’ Complete the verification by entering the OTP received on your registered mobile number.
View the full details on the screen
- Farmer’s name and current registration status
- eKYC status (it must be ‘YES’)
- Bank account details and complete installment payment history
- If any of your installments are pending or rejected, the reason for the same.
