Weather Update:- The capital, Delhi, is experiencing severe heat at this time. The temperature here is now crossing 40. The situation is such that even in the late and early morning, there is no softness in the weather. It is becoming increasingly complex for people to leave their homes during the day.
Regarding the weather in UP, the process of rain and gusty winds has begun in the state. On Sunday, due to the changed weather, there was no severe heat. According to the Meteorological Department, similar weather is expected till May 3. Due to the change in weather, there has been a significant drop in temperature.
Weather conditions in UP
The Meteorological Department estimates that the weather may be clear in western UP on April 28. Apart from this, light rain with thundershowers can be seen in some places in eastern UP. Apart from this, there is a possibility of thundering clouds, lightning, and gusty winds at speeds of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour in some places. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that strong winds, accompanied by thunder and lightning, are expected in the following districts: Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, and Ballia.
Delhi Weather Update
The Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy weather for today, i.e., Monday. And the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 41 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively. However, people may get some relief due to thunderstorms and rain the next day. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Delhi on April 29, which may cause the temperature to drop. According to the IMD, the minimum temperature on Tuesday is expected to be 25 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is forecasted to be 39 degrees Celsius.
Weather conditions in the mountains
These days, strong sunlight is being seen in Uttarakhand in the morning. However, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of lightning with strong thunder in most parts of the state on April 30, 2025. Himachal Pradesh is experiencing intense heat these days, although the Meteorological Department has predicted light rain for the period from May 1 to 3, 2025.
Rain warning in these states
According to the IMD, an alert has been issued for heavy rain in the states of Nagaland, Mizoram and Tripura on 28 and 29 April. Apart from this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds in eastern India and western Uttar Pradesh during 28 to 29 April. Apart from this, there may be a change in the weather in Chhattisgarh from April 26 to April 28.
