Weather conditions in Delhi

Regarding the weather in Delhi, the Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave alert for today, April 25. Here, the minimum temperature can reach 23°c, and the maximum temperature can reach 42°c. It is being reported that a heat wave is also possible on April 26. That is, it will be a bit difficult to go out of the house on the weekend.

Heat wave warning in these 14 states

Weather forecasting agency Skymet has predicted a heatwave in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Haryana, Delhi, Chhattisgarh, and Punjab.

Bihar has been experiencing a severe heatwave since April. According to scientists at the Meteorological Centre in Patna, a heat wave is expected in some areas of East Champaran, Supaul, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Gopalganj, and Bhagalpur districts today. According to the Meteorological Department, rain-like conditions are expected in some parts of the state over the next 2-3 days.

Possibility of heavy rain in some states

According to the Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued for light to moderate rain in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Additionally, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rainfall in some areas. The Meteorological Department predicts that light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds, is expected in Sikkim and the Northeastern region of India. Apart from this, light to moderate rainfall is expected in Kerala, parts of Karnataka, and Southern Tamil Nadu. Light to moderate rainfall, along with heavy rain, may be observed in some areas of the Western Himalayan region over the next 48 hours.
