Monsoon Alert: – Monsoon has arrived in the entire country. Rain has started in Delhi as well. The weather in Delhi has become cool. After the rain, people have got relief from the heat, but there are many parts of the country where flood-like conditions have been created due to heavy rains. Somewhere, landslides are taking a toll on people’s lives. In Himachal Pradesh, too, the situation is out of control after heavy rains in many cities. Many fatal incidents of landslides have been reported in Uttarakhand and Himachal.
Due to the heavy rains that have continued for the last week, rivers in Uttarakhand are in spate. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in many states of the country. An alert has been issued regarding heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Himachal, as well as Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Apart from this, rain is expected in Maharashtra and Gujarat for the next 6 days. Additionally, an alert has been issued regarding rainfall in Odisha and Jharkhand today. At the same time, intermittent rains are continuing in Delhi NCR today.
Rain warning in these states today
According to the Meteorological Department, extremely heavy rain is expected at different places in Jharkhand on June 30. An alert has been issued for heavy rainfall at various locations in Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh from June 30 to July 5. Apart from this, a warning of heavy rain has been issued in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from June 30 to July 5. The Meteorological Department has predicted hefty rainfall in Madhya Pradesh on July 4 and 5, and in Bihar from June 30 to July 2. Additionally, heavy rain is expected in Jharkhand on July 1. An alert has been issued for heavy rain with thunderstorms in most states of the country during the next 7 days.
The Meteorological Department estimates that heavy rain is likely in Konkan and Goa during the next 7 days. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for very heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from July 2 to 5.
