:- Major news is emerging today—Wednesday—from Malviya Nagar in the national capital, Delhi. Panic ensued on Wednesday, June 3, following a sudden fire outbreak at a restaurant. According to incoming reports, approximately 10 people have lost their lives in this tragic incident. Officials stated that the Fire Department received information about the blaze at around 9:00 AM, after which 10 fire tenders were dispatched to the scene. According to ANI, the death toll in the fire incident at the Malviya Nagar restaurant has now risen to 10.

According to the news agency PTI, an official from the (DFS) stated that two water tenders, two water bowsers, one Quick Response Vehicle, and other firefighting units were deployed to bring the fire at the ‘Lemon Green’ restaurant under control. Reports suggest that more than 17 people have sustained injuries in this incident.

However, it is feared that some individuals may still be trapped inside the restaurant. Currently, rescue operations are underway. No information has yet surfaced regarding the cause of the fire.

The restaurant was operating in the building’s basement; following the outbreak, the fire spread rapidly throughout the structure. The blaze quickly intensified into a massive conflagration, prompting several people to jump from the building in a desperate bid to save their lives.

According to the Fire Brigade, the alert regarding the fire was received at 8:50 AM, following which 10 fire tenders arrived at the site. Acting promptly, the Fire Brigade team successfully rescued three individuals trapped in the basement and transported them to a nearby hospital.
