Redmi Turbo 5 India Launch Date and Availability
The company announced on its social media handle that the Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone will launch in India on June 16. A microsite has also been set up on Amazon, confirming that the Redmi Turbo 5 will be available for purchase via the e-commerce platform following its launch.
The Redmi Turbo 5 smartphone will be offered in at least two colour options: black and white. In addition to the launch date, the brand has revealed details about the processor: it will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. The Redmi Turbo 5 will support up to 24GB of RAM, including 12GB of virtual RAM. The upcoming phone will also be available in a variant featuring 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
It will also come with onboard UFS 4.1 storage, although the exact capacity has not yet been disclosed.

The smartphone is already available for sale in China. The Chinese variant of the phone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen (1,268 × 2,756 pixels) with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. Additionally, the phone comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 onboard storage.
For photography, the phone features a dual rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel (f/1.5) Sony IMX882 main camera and an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultra-wide camera. Meanwhile, a 20-megapixel (f/2.2) front camera is provided for selfies and video calling. The phone houses a 7,560mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging.

The Redmi Turbo 4 comes with a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) OLED display. For selfies and video calls, this smartphone features a 20-megapixel sensor.
