The Haryana government has increased the pension amount provided under social security schemes. Currently, eligible beneficiaries of the Old Age Samman Allowance Scheme receive financial assistance of ₹3,200 per month. This amount is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account. On an annual basis, an elderly person receives financial assistance totalling ₹38,400 per year.

The applicant must be 60 years of age or older.

The applicant must be a bona fide resident of Haryana and currently living in the state.
3. Income Limit
The combined annual income of the husband and wife must not exceed ₹3 lakh. This limit was raised in April 2023.
