Work has been completed on the 184-km section from Chipyana Buzurg railway station in Ghaziabad to Tundla Junction. North Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Shashikant Shekhar Tripathi stated that it will soon be used in the operation of other high-speed trains, including Vande Bharat, Rajdhani, Shatabdi, and Duronto. Under the project, modern communication systems and surveillance infrastructure have been developed across the entire section.

Armor safety system equipment has been installed at 22 railway stations and nine level crossings.
