Dreame soundbar launch: Dreame has formally joined the home audio market with two new Dolby Atmos soundbars, the Pano S1 and Pano S2. While the Pano S1 is a mid-range product at 2,199 yuan ($309), the Pano S2 arrives in the high-end segment at 4,098 yuan ($576). The two models are both equipped with Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless streaming at low latency and are designed to offer immersive surround sound to film, music, and gaming fans.
Dreame Pano S1: Audio Hardware and Design
The Dreame Pano S1 boasts a 3.1.2-channel setup producing 500W of overall output power. The main soundbar comes preinstalled in a house containing nine speaker drivers, three of which are full-range units, three are tweeters, and two are upward-firing Dolby Atmos speakers. An additional 6.5-inch wireless subwoofer provides deep bass response. To enhance tonal fidelity, Dreame has used plant-fiber composite diaphragms and silk-dome tweeters capable of a wide frequency response with low distortion.
Sound Modes and Frequency Response
Having a frequency range of 45Hz to 20kHz, the S1 is designed to provide solid lows and sharp highs. The subwoofer is driven by an instant-fold surround design that maximizes bass resonance, particularly during intense action content. Dreame offers three optimized modes Music, Cinema, and Game, with preset tuning for users according to their entertainment choices.
Connectivity and Build Quality
The Pano has a Bauhaus-style design in Walnut Black and Walnut Grey. The front-facing LED screen enhances playability and visibility. The connectivity features include DMI (eARC), optical input, AUX, USB, and Bluetooth 5.4. The soundbar itself is 863.4 × 102.2 × 61.5 mm, while the wireless subwoofer is 192 × 295 × 370 mm. Together, the system weighs 6.8 kg, which is relatively small for living room configurations.
Dreame Pano S2: Premium Dolby Atmos Performance
For consumers looking for a more immersive experience, the Pano S2 steps up to a 5.1.2-channel setup and raises peak output to 630W. In addition to the core soundbar and an 8-inch wireless subwoofer, the bundle features two separate rear speakers to create a more authentic surround atmosphere. With a total of 12 drivers, including rear tweeters, spatial audio positioning is more precise.
Wider Frequency Range and High-Quality Materials
From 40Hz to 20kHz, the Pano S2 ventures further into the lower range. Similar to the S1, Dreame employs plant-fiber composite diaphragms coupled with silk-dome tweeters to preserve definition at all frequencies. Bluetooth 5.4 guarantees reliable wireless sound, with multiple content modes supported to enable customization based on application.
Connectivity and Size
The S2 features HDMI 2.1 (eARC/ARC), optical input, AUX, USB, and DC power port. With an Obsidian Black finish sporting a brushed metal plate, it presents a high-end visual appearance. The main bar is 938 × 102.2 × 61.5 mm in size, the subwoofer is 192 × 356 × 375 mm, and each rear speaker is 205 × 102.2 × 61.5 mm tall. The overall system weight is 10.4 kg.
Final Outlook and Connected Releases
Dreame worked together with industry experts with more than 20 years of acoustic expertise to calibrate both soundbars. To that, the company also launched V3000 Aura Mini LED TVs with 2800-nit HDR brightness and a 501L cross-door refrigerator with deep-freeze and humidity control, marking Dreame’s expanding smart-home aspirations.
