But now, Gaurav’s wife, the beautiful actress Akanksha Chamola, has clarified the entire matter. Akanksha has clearly stated that she has no intention of having a child at the moment!

“I am not planning a baby…” – Akanksha’s candid statement

During Family Week on Bigg Boss, Akanksha Chamola entered the house to meet her husband Gaurav Khanna. During this time, she was talking to Malti Chahar and Praneet More, when she opened up. According to a report in ETimes, Akanksha clearly stated that she is not yet mentally prepared to become a mother. She believes that becoming a parent is a huge responsibility and doesn’t think she can do justice to the role.

Akanksha said, “I’m not even planning it right now. I haven’t had that inclination yet, and I’m finding it very difficult in the future because… I don’t see any reason to have children; I have so many reasons not to.” She further said that when you start finding so many reasons, it means you’re not ready.

 ‘Is Akanksha afraid of becoming a mother?’

When Malti asked her if she was afraid of having a child, Akanksha explained it more clearly. She said, “I’m not afraid of it, but I don’t think I’ll be able to be that responsible. Having a child and raising it isn’t easy. It’s a huge responsibility.”

She further adds, “I don’t think I can do justice to the duty or responsibility of raising a child. I have a career and many other ambitions. Now, people may call him selfish or whatever.”

Earlier, in an episode of ‘Bigg Boss 19,’ Gaurav Khanna also spoke to Mridul about starting a family. When Mridul asked him about children, Gaurav admitted that he wanted them, but he also mentioned that his wife had a different perspective. Gaurav said, “A child is a huge responsibility. I work all day, and if my wife also works, it wouldn’t feel right to leave the child in someone else’s care.”
