Psychological Crime Thriller Film – If you’re a fan of suspense and thriller films, then there’s great news for you! Malayalam cinema’s megastar Mammootty’s blockbuster film ‘Kaalamkaaval’ has now arrived on your mobile and TV screens. After creating a sensation in theaters, the film is now ready to entertain OTT lovers.

What is its OTT release date?

After a successful 40-day run in theaters, the film started streaming on Sony LIV today, January 16, 2026. So, if you missed it on the big screen, you can now watch it comfortably at home.

 Where Every Step Brings a New Twist

The film’s story begins with Jayakrishnan (Vinayakan), an officer in the Kerala Police Special Branch. He is assigned to investigate a case related to communal tensions. Initially, it seems like a simple case of a girl running away, but as the layers unfold, the story becomes a complex puzzle.

The real thrill begins when Stanley Das (Mammootty), an officer from the Tamil Nadu Crime Branch, enters the picture. Mammootty plays a mysterious and tough officer who is on the hunt for a dangerous serial killer. Will these two officers be able to uncover the truth together? That’s the essence of this film.
