When was the exam held?
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was conducted in 45 shifts across the country between September 12 and September 26, 2025. Candidates have been eagerly awaiting the results since the exam concluded.
Where can they check the results?
As soon as the results are released, candidates will be able to download their results by visiting the SSC’s official website, ssc.gov.in. The Commission stated that the question challenge process will be fully resolved before the results are announced.
So many objections filed
According to the SSC, the question challenge process was conducted between October 17 and 19, 2025. During this period, the Commission received approximately 1,000 objections from candidates. Since the exam was conducted in 45 shifts, objections could be raised on a total of over 4,500 questions.

Reasons for the delay in results
The Commission stated that objections to each question are being reviewed. Questions that are suspected or erroneous have been sent back to the subject experts who prepared the original question paper. If any errors are found, the results will be prepared only after they are corrected.
This entire process will naturally take time. This is why the results won’t be released before November, but the Commission aims to declare them by December 2025.
