JEE Main Session 1 Exam Date Change: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026 Session 1 exam dates have been changed again. According to the notification, these exams were initially scheduled for January 23-30. According to the latest notice, the exam scheduled for January 23 in West Bengal has been postponed. Candidates appearing for the exam at centres in West Bengal will be given a new date.

The official notice states, “Considering the requests received from candidates regarding the celebration of Saraswati Puja on January 23, 2026, in the state of West Bengal, it has been decided that all candidates appearing for the JEE (Main) exam on January 23, 2026, in West Bengal will be given an alternative date from the dates announced for the JEE (Main) 2026 Session 1 exam.”
When will the admit card be released?
The testing agency has already released the exam city slip. To download the city slip, candidates need to enter their application number. They will also need to use their password or date of birth and the security pin displayed on the screen. Admit cards will be released soon on the official website. According to media reports, the hall tickets may be released 3-4 days before the exam.

Steps to download the city intimation slip:
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Look under Candidate Activity and click on Advance City Intimation for JEE(Main)-2026 [Session-I].
Step 3: A new page will open. Step 4: Enter your application number and date of birth.
Step 5: Submit the details and download your city intimation slip.
Step 6: Save the slip and take a printout for future reference.
