According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), on Monday—the first trading day of the week—upon the market opening, the rate for 24-carat gold stood at approximately ₹156,000 per 10 grams; this compares to the previous trading day’s closing price of ₹156,463 per 10 grams in the evening session. Meanwhile, a decline was also noted in silver prices. Following this reduction, the price of silver has dropped to ₹263,000 per kilogram.

According to the rates released on ibjarates.com on the morning of June 1st, the price of 999-purity gold was ₹155,599 per 10 grams; by the evening, following a decline, it settled at ₹155,536 per 10 grams. Rates are released by the Central Government via ibjarates.com every morning and evening, from Monday through Friday.
The prices issued by the IBJA are considered valid nationwide. These gold and silver prices do not include GST, and separate making charges are added when purchasing jewellery.

Furthermore, 14-carat (585 purity) gold has dropped to ₹90,989 per 10 grams.
