HBSE Board Exams 2026 Start Tomorrow – Check Timings, Guidelines & Mandatory Rules

New Delhi, Haryana Board Class 10th and 12th Exam 2026: The Haryana Board of Secondary Education has scheduled the 10th and 12th class examinations to begin on February 25th. The Haryana Board Secondary annual examinations will run from February 26th to March 20th. The Senior Secondary examinations will run from February 25th to April 1st. The exam timings will be from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The administration, the education department, and the police across the state have made extensive preparations for a cheating-free examination.

Section 163 will be enforced within a 200-meter radius of the examination centres. Photocopy shops will remain closed, and police personnel will arrive at the examination centres two hours before the start of the examination to conduct scanning. 2.95 lakh students in the 10th class and 2.70 lakh students in the 12th class are expected to appear in the examination.

For some subjects, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM

Strict arrangements have been made to prevent cheating
Examination centres will be monitored by CCTV, flying squads, and supervisors.
Police personnel will arrive two hours before the exam and scan the centres.
Mobile phones, Bluetooth, and other electronic devices are not permitted inside the centres.
Crowds will not be allowed to gather around the examination centres.

Exams will be held at 1,421 examination centers
The 10th and 12th grade examinations will be conducted at 1,421 examination centres across the state. Approximately 566,400 candidates will appear in these examinations. Meanwhile, the board says that if it has to cancel the exam at any centre, the cost of re-conducting the exam will be borne by the centre and its staff.

Students appearing for the Haryana Board Intermediate exams should ensure they bring their admit cards. Without their admit cards, they will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.

Exam Guidelines

Students should follow all exam-related instructions on the admit card.

Bring a colour-coded admit card to the exam centre.

Do not bring a mobile phone or a calculator to the centre.

All students should bring their own log table and pencil for map work or other work.
