You can update all these things yourself from the comfort of your home, eliminating any hassle. The Indian government will soon launch a new mobile application for Aadhaar cardholders. This app is being developed by the Unique Identification Authority of India. Users will soon be able to use it to access various Aadhaar card-related services directly from their smartphones. Reports suggest it could be launched by the end of this year. With the launch of the app, there will be no need to visit Aadhaar service centers.

According to reports, this app will utilise Face ID technology. This will provide a secure interface and an easy Aadhaar update option. It is also being said that from November, visits to Aadhaar centres will be required only for biometric updates, such as fingerprint and iris scans. The app will reduce paperwork, reduce fraud, and significantly speed up the process.
