Good news for government employees. In view of Durga Puja-Dussehra in Navratri, central employees will get salary advance for the month of September. The government has made such arrangements that the salary of the employees posted in West Bengal comes before 30 September so that there is no difficulty in celebrating the festival. In this regard, the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CGA) of the Union Finance Ministry has issued an order.
With this decision, all central government employees, industrial employees and pensioners posted in the state will get advance payment. The payment for the month of September will be made on 26 September 2025 i.e. Friday.
Government will make partial payment
The objective of the government’s decision is to provide financial relief to central employees during the festival so that they can enjoy the festive month comfortably with their families. The order states that there will be part payment in this advance. At the end of the month, whatever remains after the complete calculation of actual salary, salary and pension, will be paid.
This order will be applicable to all central ministries, departments, defense department, postal and telecommunication services. Also, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been instructed to send this instruction to all the bank branches of the state so that the payment can be made on time. Banks and Payment Agency Offices (PAO) will also give this advance payment to all pensioners on time.
Order to make payment on time
Officials say that this order will help employees to meet their needs before the festival. Central employees have welcomed this order. Under this instruction, all the central offices of West Bengal have been asked to implement this order immediately. The concerned departments have also been instructed to be vigilant to strictly follow the order. At the same time, bank payments have been ensured for pensioners so that they do not face any inconvenience in their expenses.
