Ration Card E-KYC: If you are a ration card holder, this news may be important for you. Under the NFSA, the government aims to ensure that affordable or free rations reach the right beneficiaries. To this end, e-KYC has now been made mandatory for ration card holders. This process has been implemented to remove fake or ineligible names and ensure uninterrupted access to rations for those in need. The ration card is not only a crucial document for food security but also serves as an identity, so periodic verification is considered essential.

Many people last completed this process several years ago, making it necessary to update it again.
